Foundation Wizard (“Foundation Wizard,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Foundation Wizard mobile application, website, support email, subscription features, saved job features, copy/share features, and related services.

Foundation Wizard is designed as a simple field calculation and communication tool. The app is intended to help users calculate, view, save, copy, and share job-related field information such as elevations, yardage, dimensions, point names, structure names, and job summaries.

1. SUMMARY

Foundation Wizard is built to be privacy-conscious and field-friendly.

We do not require users to create an account.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use third-party advertising inside the app.

We do not use advertising trackers inside the app.

Core calculation features are available without a login.

Saved jobs are intended to be stored locally on your device unless you choose to share, copy, email, text, or otherwise export them.

Apple handles App Store purchases, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and payment processing.

2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER INTO THE APP

Foundation Wizard may allow you to enter job-related information, including but not limited to:

Job names

Point names

Structure names or identifiers

Elevation values

Yardage values

Dimensions such as length, width, depth, diameter, run, slope, or related measurements

Concrete quantity or volume information

Notes or labels you choose to include in saved or shared reports

This information is entered by you for calculation, reference, saving, copying, sharing, or reporting purposes. You should avoid entering private personal information, confidential project information, regulated information, classified information, or information you do not have permission to store or share.

3. LOCAL STORAGE ON YOUR DEVICE

Foundation Wizard may store certain information locally on your device so the app can function properly and provide features such as saved jobs, job summaries, calculator state, user preferences, and previously entered field information.

Examples of locally stored information may include:

Saved jobs

Job names

Elevation entries

Yardage entries

Combined elevation and yardage reports

Measurement unit preferences

Display preferences

Recent calculator state

Subscription access status used by the app to determine whether Plus features are unlocked

Local storage means the information is generally stored on your own device, not in a Foundation Wizard user account. If you delete the app, clear app data, replace your device, restore your device, or experience device failure, locally stored information may be lost.

Foundation Wizard is not intended to be a permanent record-keeping system, cloud storage system, engineering database, survey record system, or legal project archive.

4. SAVE JOB FEATURE

Foundation Wizard Plus may unlock the ability to save job summaries or related calculation information. Saved jobs are intended for convenience, field reference, and short-term communication.

Saved jobs may include information you entered into the app, including job names, point names, structure names, elevation results, yardage results, dimensions, and generated report text.

Unless a separate cloud or account feature is introduced in the future and clearly disclosed, saved jobs are intended to remain stored locally on your device.

5. COPY AND SHARE FEATURES

Foundation Wizard Plus may unlock the ability to copy or share clean reports, job summaries, elevation results, yardage results, combined elevation and yardage reports, and related field information.

When you use copy or share features, the information you choose to copy or share may leave the Foundation Wizard app. For example, you may choose to send a report by text message, email, AirDrop, messaging apps, notes apps, file apps, or other apps available through your device.

Once you choose to share information outside Foundation Wizard, the handling of that information is controlled by the receiving app, service, person, company, or platform. Foundation Wizard does not control how third-party apps, message recipients, employers, contractors, clients, or other third parties handle information after you share it.

You are responsible for reviewing reports before sending them and for making sure you have permission to share any job, project, structure, measurement, or work-related information contained in the report.

6. CLIPBOARD

If you use the copy feature, Foundation Wizard may place generated report text on your device clipboard. Other apps or system features may be able to access clipboard content depending on your device settings, operating system behavior, and the apps you use.

You should avoid copying sensitive or confidential information unless you understand where you intend to paste or send it.

7. FOUNDATION WIZARD PLUS SUBSCRIPTION

Foundation Wizard may offer an optional paid subscription called Foundation Wizard Plus.

Foundation Wizard Plus may unlock convenience and professional communication features such as:

Save Job

Copy clean reports

Share job summaries

Combined elevation and yardage report sharing

Future export or reporting features

Core calculator features are intended to remain available without requiring a subscription.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store systems. Apple processes payment information, subscription renewals, cancellations, refunds, free trials, billing issues, and App Store account information. Foundation Wizard does not receive your full credit card number or full payment credentials from Apple.

Foundation Wizard may receive limited subscription status information from Apple, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, restored, pending, cancelled, or unavailable. This information is used to unlock or restrict Plus features.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

8. FREE TRIALS AND SUBSCRIPTION CHANGES

If Foundation Wizard Plus includes a free trial, the trial terms will be displayed through Apple’s App Store purchase sheet or subscription interface. Apple manages trial eligibility, trial duration, renewal timing, and billing.

Subscription pricing, trial availability, and included Plus features may change in the future. If changes are made, they will be handled according to Apple’s App Store rules and any applicable laws.

9. SUPPORT EMAIL AND COMMUNICATIONS

If you contact us for support, questions, bug reports, feedback, or suggestions, we may receive information you choose to send, such as:

Your email address

Your name, if included in your email

Your message content

Screenshots or attachments you choose to send

Device or app information you choose to provide

Information needed to understand or respond to your support request

We use support communications to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, document bugs, and understand feature requests. We may retain support communications for recordkeeping, troubleshooting, legal, security, or business purposes.

Do not send confidential, sensitive, regulated, classified, or private project information by email unless you are authorized to do so and understand the risks of email communication.

10. WEBSITE INFORMATION

When you visit the Foundation Wizard website, basic technical information may be automatically processed by website hosting providers, server systems, browsers, or security tools. This may include information such as:

IP address

Browser type

Device type

Operating system

Pages visited

Date and time of visit

Referring page or website

Basic server logs

This information may be used to operate the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues, understand general traffic, and improve website performance.

The Foundation Wizard website is not intended to collect sensitive personal information.

11. ANALYTICS

Foundation Wizard may use limited, privacy-conscious technical information to understand app performance, crashes, subscription status, or general usage patterns. Any analytics or diagnostic information used in the future is intended to improve app reliability, app performance, and user experience.

Foundation Wizard does not use in-app advertising trackers and does not sell analytics information to advertisers.

Apple may provide developers with App Store Connect information such as downloads, sales, subscriptions, crash reports, performance metrics, and other aggregated or limited app analytics. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and App Store systems.

12. CRASH REPORTS AND DIAGNOSTICS

If the app crashes or experiences technical issues, Apple may provide crash reports, diagnostics, logs, or performance information to help identify and fix bugs. These reports may include device model, operating system version, app version, time of crash, and technical details related to the issue.

Crash reports are used for troubleshooting, quality control, and app improvement.

13. INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT

Foundation Wizard is not designed to intentionally collect:

Full payment card numbers

Bank account numbers

Social Security numbers

Driver’s license numbers

Medical records

Precise personal identity documents

Biometric identifiers

Personal passwords

Private account login credentials

Children’s personal information

You should not enter this type of information into Foundation Wizard.

14. LOCATION DATA

Foundation Wizard does not require location access for its core calculator functions.

If location-based features are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate, and the app will request device permission where required.

15. PHOTOS, CAMERA, AND FILES

Foundation Wizard’s core calculator functions do not require access to your camera, photo library, or files.

If future features allow image export, file export, photo attachment, document sharing, or similar functionality, the app may request permission or use system share/export tools. Any such feature will be used only as needed to perform the action you choose.

16. ADVERTISING

Foundation Wizard does not display third-party advertisements inside the app.

Foundation Wizard does not use in-app banner ads, video ads, popup ads, or advertising-based monetization inside the app.

17. TRACKING

Foundation Wizard does not intentionally track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Foundation Wizard does not sell your information to advertisers.

18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Foundation Wizard may rely on third-party platforms and services to operate, distribute, support, or improve the app and website. These may include:

Apple App Store

Apple StoreKit

Apple TestFlight

Apple App Store Connect

Device operating system services

Email providers

Website hosting providers

Domain and DNS providers

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and technical systems. Foundation Wizard does not control Apple’s payment processing, App Store account systems, subscription management, refund process, or device-level privacy settings.

19. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Information may be used to:

Operate Foundation Wizard

Provide calculator functionality

Generate field results and reports

Save jobs locally on your device

Allow copying and sharing of reports when you choose to use those features

Verify Foundation Wizard Plus subscription access

Respond to support requests

Fix bugs and improve app reliability

Maintain security and prevent misuse

Comply with legal, tax, accounting, business, and App Store obligations

20. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share information only in limited circumstances, including:

When you choose to copy, export, text, email, AirDrop, or share a report

With Apple for purchases, subscriptions, TestFlight, App Store distribution, crash reporting, and related services

With service providers who help operate the website, email, domain, support, hosting, or technical infrastructure

If required by law, legal process, court order, subpoena, government request, or regulatory obligation

If necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the integrity of the app or website

In connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information.

21. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR SHARED REPORTS

Foundation Wizard may generate field reports or summaries based on information you enter. You are responsible for reviewing all results before relying on them or sharing them.

If you share a report with a crew member, employer, contractor, client, inspector, batch plant, third party, or any other recipient, you are responsible for making sure the report is accurate, appropriate, authorized, and suitable for that use.

Foundation Wizard is a field reference tool. It is not a substitute for licensed surveying, engineering, professional judgment, project specifications, contract documents, site-specific requirements, or independent verification.

22. DATA ACCURACY AND CALCULATION RESPONSIBILITY

Foundation Wizard performs calculations based on information entered by the user. Incorrect inputs may produce incorrect outputs. You are responsible for verifying all values, units, dimensions, elevations, yardage results, reports, and shared information before using them in the field or sending them to others.

Foundation Wizard does not guarantee that calculations, reports, saved jobs, or shared summaries are free from error.

23. DATA RETENTION

Locally saved app data may remain on your device until you delete it, clear it, uninstall the app, reset the device, replace the device, or otherwise remove the data.

Support emails and related communications may be retained as long as reasonably necessary for support, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, legal, security, or business purposes.

Website logs and technical records may be retained by website hosting providers or related systems according to their own retention practices.

24. DELETING INFORMATION

You may be able to delete saved jobs or clear information directly inside the app.

You can also delete the app from your device. Deleting the app may remove locally stored app information, depending on your device settings and operating system behavior.

Information you previously shared outside the app, such as text messages, emails, screenshots, copied reports, or files, may remain with the people, apps, services, or systems where you sent it. Foundation Wizard cannot delete information after it has been shared outside the app.

25. SECURITY

We use reasonable efforts to protect information handled by Foundation Wizard and related services. However, no app, website, device, email system, storage method, transmission method, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your device, device passcode, Apple ID, email account, backups, shared reports, and any information you choose to store or send.

26. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Foundation Wizard is intended for construction, field, utility, concrete, inspection, and related professional or adult work uses. It is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

27. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Foundation Wizard may be available in multiple countries or regions through the Apple App Store. If you use the app outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Apple, service providers, hosting providers, or related systems operate.

By using Foundation Wizard, you understand that privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

28. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have certain privacy rights under applicable law. These may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is used.

Because Foundation Wizard does not require user accounts and primarily stores job data locally on your device, we may not be able to identify or access app data stored only on your device.

We do not sell personal information.

29. APPLE APP PRIVACY DISCLOSURES

Apple may require privacy disclosures in App Store Connect describing categories of data that may be collected, linked, used, or tracked. The App Store privacy label is intended to summarize certain data practices for Apple’s platform.

If there is any difference between an App Store privacy label summary and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy provides more detail about Foundation Wizard’s practices.

30. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates may reflect changes to the app, subscriptions, Plus features, saved job features, share/export features, website operations, legal requirements, App Store requirements, or business practices.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Foundation Wizard after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
